DUI Accident on Las Vegas Boulevard Left 50-Year-Old Man Dead

LAS VEGAS, NV (December 23, 2021) – A DUI accident on Las Vegas Boulevard claimed the life of Julio Maymi-Diaz Friday morning.

Authorities received reports about the collision just before 2:00 a.m., at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Gass Avenue.

According to officials, Daysia Brown, 24, was driving a Jeep heading eastbound when she ran a red light at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard.

Consequently, the jeep collided with a Toyota heading northbound. Julio Maymi-Diaz was a passenger in the Toyota. Eventually, Maymi-Diaz died after suffering multiple life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the accident is still under active investigation.
