15-Year-Old High School Student Fatally Struck near Ina Road

TUCSON, AZ (February 5, 2024)Julian Jennings died Late Friday night in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 10 and Ina Road. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m., on January 26th.

Authorities report that the operator of a Ford Mustang was heading west and collided with Jennings and another student as they crossed Interstate 10. The involved driver reported that he tried to evade the pedestrians by veering to the right but was unsuccessful.

Despite the attempts of medical personnel to save the 15-year-old, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the second student sustained a broken leg. According to investigators, both adolescents attended Mountain View High School.

Currently, there is no information available regarding the driver, and the incident remains under investigation.
