Car Crash on Muller Road Left Female Passenger Dead

BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 19, 2022) – A car crash on Muller Road claimed the life of Julia Aquino Tuesday afternoon.

The collision occurred around 1 p.m. near South Edison Road.

Furthermore, according to the investigation, a westbound Ford Escape on Muller Road made a complete stop at a stop sign, then entered the intersection.

However, the Ford drove directly in front of a southbound heavy-duty tow truck going 55 miles per hour.

Eventually, first responders arrived at the scene and transported the Ford driver to a hospital for major injuries but was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the passenger of the same vehicle, 48-year-old Julia Aquino died at the scene.

The tow-truck driver, identified as 26-year-old Jamie Gallegos, remained uninjured.

Bakersfield Officials are investigating the fatal crash.
