43-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Sierra Avenue

FRESNO, CA (April 14, 2022) – Late Friday evening, a pedestrian crash on Sierra Avenue claimed the life of 43-year-old Judy Fisher.

According to police, the deadly incident happened just before 11:00 p.m., near the intersection of Blackstone and Sierra Avenue.

Per reports, 43-year-old Fisher ran directly into the path of a passing vehicle on Blackstone Avenue. As a result, the driver struck her in the middle of the road.

Upon impact, Fisher suffered life-threatening injuries. Medical personnel arrived and transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where crews later pronounced her dead.

Meanwhile, Fresno Officials shut down for several hours while investigating the incident.

Following preliminary investigations, authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a factor. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
