Federal Judge George Wu has tentatively reversed three misdemeanor convictions against MySpace Mom Lori Drew, the Missouri woman who was accused of setting up a phony MySpace profile to bully Megan Meier — a 13-year-old girl who eventually committed suicide. Last November jurors acquitted Drew of the more serious felonies she had faced, but convicted her of three misdemeanor counts of lying to MySpace, while deadlocking on a felony conspiracy count that prosecutors later withdrew.

Shortly before noon Wu, after hearing from prosecutor Mark Krause and, very briefly, from defense counsel Dean Steward, tossed out the misdemeanor convictions. Wu had not even concluded his remarks when Megan Meier's mother, Tina, rose and stormed out of the court.

“I was done listening to what he had to say,” she later told reporters.
