28-Year-Old Juan Reyes Arrested after Pursuit Ends in Collision with Tree

ELK GROVE, CA (September 14, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, Juan Reyes was arrested after a police chase ended in an injury crash.

The chase occurred after an officer spotted a stolen vehicle, driven by Reyes, heading southbound on Franklin Boulevard from Laguna Boulevard.

According to the report, Reyes immediately sped off and continued onto the Valley Hi Country Club driveway, where his vehicle collided with a tree. The impact of the collision left the passenger with injuries.

Then, 28-year-old Juan Reyes exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Police chased him onto a nearby golf course and detained the suspect in the driving range.

Authorities later booked Reyes into  the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of vehicle theft and multiple other charges. Once available, further details will be provided.
