25-Year-Old Woman Dies in Vehicle Accident on South Grapevine Road

FORT TEJON, CA (March 25, 2022) – Tuesday evening, police arrested Juan Morales Jr. after a solo-car crash on Interstate 5.

The fatal crash happened around 11:01 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, south of Grapevine Road.

Furthermore, according to authorities, Morales Jr. was driving a 2004 Nissan Maxima. For reasons still unknown, the car became involved in a collision on the Interstate.

Meanwhile, officers on the scene pronounced a 25-year-old Bakersfield woman dead.

Additionally, medics discovered a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old boy with serious injuries. A 3-year-old girl secured in a child safety seat also suffered moderate injuries.

Moreover, according to reports, a 1-year-old boy was not injured.

An active investigation into the crash is still currently underway.
