27-Year-Old Driver Dies in Fatal Collision on Road F Southwest

GRANT COUNTY, WA (August 03, 2021)Juan Medinasanchez, 27, of Pasco, died as a result of a two-vehicle collision on Road F Southwest.

The fatal accident occurred around 6:22 a.m. Grant County, on July 15, at the intersection of Road F Southwest and SR 26.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the man failed to yield at a red signal and was hit on the driver’s side by a semi-truck.

Officers pronounced Medinasanchez dead on the scene.

According to officials, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver was unharmed as a result of the collision.

At the moment, an investigation is underway. It is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
