Unidentified Pedestrian Hospitalized after Car Crash on West Olive Avenue
MERCED, CA (May 9, 2022) – Tuesday evening, Juan Mata was involved in a pedestrian crash on M Street that injured one victim.
The accident happened at the intersection of M Street and West Olive Avenue where a man sustained critical injuries from a collision.
Police said the male pedestrian was walking along a crosswalk when the driver of a vehicle struck him for reasons unknown. Consequently, responding paramedics transported the victim to a trauma center.
Meanwhile, the driver, 22-year-old Juan Mata stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
