36-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Car Accident near Academy Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 22, 2022) – Saturday night, Juan Luis Guevara was pronounced dead after a solo-car crash on Ashlan Avenue.
The incident occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m., just east of Academy Avenue in Fresno County.
For reasons under investigation, Guevara ran into a concrete rail with his vehicle. The impact of the collision ejected the driver from his vehicle, despite wearing a seat belt.
In addition, the car was found split in half. Medical responders transported the man to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Officials later declared 36-year-old Guevara, of Fresno dead.
Authorities are working to identify if alcohol or drugs contributed to the incident. Those with further information regarding the Ashlan and Academy avenue crash are encouraged to contact Fresno County Officials immediately.
