Driver Killed after Rollover Fiery Accident near Willow Street in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA (March 23, 2021) – Sunday morning, authorities identified Juan Lopez Jr. as the deceased victim in a fiery rollover crash on 710 Freeway.

Per reports, 26-year-old Lopez was driving a vehicle that had overturned and caught fire. Although, the events leading up remain unclear.

CHP responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m., on March 21. Emergency crews arrived near Willow Street after being dispatched to the area.

Despite life-saving efforts, Lopez was pronounced dead on scene. No other injuries were reported and it is still unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details remains ongoing. Once available, more information will be released.
