Male Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Collision near Main Street in Orange

ORANGE, CA (April 27, 2021) – Saturday morning, authorities identified 32-year-old Josue Contreras as the rider killed in a crash on 22 Freeway.

The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. For reasons still unknown, a motorcyclist went down on the eastbound lanes near Main Street.

Emergency crews arrived and immediately located the severely injured man. Despite life-saving efforts, Josue Contreras succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Reports indicate that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved. Although, an active investigation to determine further details remains ongoing.

Moreover, the surrounding area on 22 Freeway was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has since reopened.
