32-Year-Old Pedestrian Dead in Hit-and-Run Crash on La Cienega

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 9, 2022) – Friday morning, Joshua Brown was killed in a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Obama and La Cienega Boulevards.

According to police, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m on March 4th as 32-year-old Brown was leaving a 7-Eleven.

Police said Brown was in a crosswalk when a vehicle that had been traveling north on La Cienega struck him, leading to his death at the scene.

Additionally the driver, who fled the scene after the impact, is now being sought by police.

Furthermore, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
