Carrillo started gaining the attention of fans with his 10-track studio album Ultimate Celebrity Blackout released in 2018. This album is well-known for its new genre and went viral on social media sites. The album is Carrillo’s way of fighting media blackouts and censorship while promoting free speech and a free press, truly showcasing what makes him a talented and highly anticipated artist.
Since the album launch, the singer has amassed thousands of followers and views across multiple channels. His pop single Don’t Black Me Out is a must-listen, and it tells a lot about Carrillo’s personality and goal for creating the album.
A part of its lyrics says, “I wear black just to prevent media blackouts because I want them to know I was famous 10 years before now. They are welcome to muckrake me 10 million times a day if they don’t black me out.”
