Male Passenger Dead, Two Hospitalized after Auto Collision near Keystone Road

EL CENTRO, CA (September 29, 2022) – Friday afternoon, Joselyn Sloan and Dalton Carter were hurt in a fatal car accident on Highway 115.

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m., near Keystone Road.

According to reports, the driver of a Ford-550 was heading north before he turned left onto Keystone Road. Meanwhile, Sloan was driving a black 2015 Dodge Challenger and swerved right off the road to avoid a collision.

The Dodge then overturned multiple times, causing fatal injuries to the male passenger. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.

Meanwhile, medics airlifted 18-year-old Sloan from Buckeye, AZ to Desert Memorial Hospital. Paramedics also transported 22-year-old Carter from Buckeye, AZ to Pioneer’s Memorial Hospital.

Following preliminary investigations, crews determined that all occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision. Although, an active investigation is still currently underway.
