26-Year-Old Man Dead after Semi-Truck Accident near Arcturus Avenue
OXNARD, CA (April 13, 2022) – Friday morning, a motorcycle crash on Hueneme Road claimed the life of 26-year-old Jose Miranda.
According to authorities, the collision occurred near Hueneme Road and Arcturus Avenue on April 8th.
Per reports, Miranda was riding his motorcycle along Hueneme Road. As he attempted to turn left onto Arcturus Avenue, he collided with a semi-truck.
Emergency crews responded to the area and pronounced 26-year-old Miranda dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the semi-truck escaped without injury from the accident and was released at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Additionally, authorities are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact Oxnard Officials. More information will be updated as it becomes available to the public.
