Two Pedestrians Fatally Struck near Gibson Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 14, 2022) – Wednesday, Jose Linares and Alfredo Linares were killed in a pedestrian crash on Robertson Boulevard.

Authorities responded to the scene around 5:50 a.m., in the 2500 block of South Robertson Boulevard near Gibson Street on November 9th.

Officers say three brothers were crossing the street when the driver of a Honda Civic struck Jose and Alfredo. Medics arrived and pronounced Jose and Alredo dead at the scene. However, Juan Linares remained uninjured.

Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, police do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a factor.
