One Fatally Struck in Big-Rig Collision on Robben Road
DIXON, CA (October 14, 2022) – Monday morning, police responded to a semi-truck collision that claimed the life of Jose Jimenez.
The incident occurred around 6:56 a.m., near Robben Road on October 10th.
According to reports, Jimenez was driving a Chevrolet west on Vaughn Road while the semi-truck was heading south on Robben Road. The big-rig driver was unable to avoid broadsiding the Chevrolet, consequently pushing it through the intersection.
The Chevy then came to a stop after overturning on the road. Medics arrived and pronounced the Chevy driver, 34-year-old Jimenez, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver did not suffer any injuries. Further events surrounding the collision have not been made clear. Once available, more information will be released.
