35-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash near Florence Avenue

BELL, CA (March 7, 2022) – Authorities identified Jose Gutierrez as the fatal victim of a three-vehicle crash on the southbound 710 Freeway.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 2:11 p.m..

Later identified as Gutierrez, the 35-year-old had been the lone casualty in the collision that occurred north of Florence Avenue, CHP said.

He suffered blunt force trauma injuries after being hit by one of the vehicles, he was later pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

At this time, the circumstances that led up to the fatal collision remain unclear.

The crash is currently under active investigation.
