26-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in SUV Collision near North La Canada Drive

TUCSON, AZ (June 1, 2022) – Late Sunday night, Jose Fraijo was killed in a motorcycle vs SUV collision on West River Road.

According to authorities, a Kia Sport Utility Vehicle was turning left onto River Road when they collided with a Kawasaki Motorcycle for reasons unknown.

Paramedics transported the motorcyclist, identified as 26-year-old Fraijo, to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, medics took the SUV driver to a hospital for further treatment of minor injuries.

Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Moreover, speed or impairment were not suspected to be causes of the crash, an active investigation is still underway.
