One Dead and One Injured after Multi-Vehicle Crash near Willow Pass Road
CONCORD, CA (August 23, 2022) – Early Monday morning, a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 4 claimed the life of Jorge Sanchez Juarez.
The incident took place on August 15th, at around 12:40 p.m., along Highway 4 just east of Willow Pass Road.
According to investigators, a yellow Chevrolet Camaro collided with the side of a white Honda Accord. After the Accord pulled to the side of the road, the Camaro continued driving until it was rear-ended by a blue Chevrolet Suburban.
First responders declared the Camaro driver dead at the scene. Police identified the victim as 18-year-old Jorge Sanchez Juarez, of Concord.
Meanwhile, officials reported that the driver of the Accord escaped the crash unharmed, while the driver of the Suburban received minor injuries. Their identities are being withheld for the time being.
