34-Year-Old Police Officer Killed in Motorcycle Accident near Wolverine Way

BELLEVUE, WA (November 23, 2022) – Monday morning, Jordan Jackson was fatally struck in a motorcycle collision on Bellevue Way.

Officers received dispatch calls in the area around 10:00 a.m., near Wolverine Way.

According to reports, Jackson was heading north on Bellevue when the driver of a sedan pulled out of a parking lot directly in front of him. As a result, the vehicle and the motorcycle collided.

Paramedics arrived and transported 34-year-old Jackson to Harborview Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the occupants inside the sedan remained uninjured. Authorities have not yet released their identities.

Emergency crews closed the north and southbound lanes of Bellevue Way until around 3:30 p.m. Following preliminary duties, officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a factor in the incident.
