Suspect Arrested after Deadly DUI Collision on Community Road

POWAY, CA (May 27, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, 23-year-old Jordan Bourassa was arrested after a fatal rollover crash on Twin Peaks Road.

According to reports, the crash happened around 3:22 a.m., at the intersection of Community and Twin Peaks Road.

Investigators said the vehicle struck a signal light pole and flipped over, trapping two people inside.

Eventually, deputies arrived and freed the driver who was identified as 23-year-old Bourassa.  Meanwhile, the Poway Fire Department extricated the passenger.

Paramedics transported the two to Palomar Hospital in Escondido. Due to the extent of their condition, the passenger later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

At this time, authorities have not released the identity of the passenger.

Meanwhile, authorities arrested and booked Jordan Bourassa into San Diego Central Jail for suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury and vehicular manslaughter.
