34-Year-Old Jonathan Sepulveda Killed by Vehicle in Balboa Park

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 30, 2021) – Saturday night September 18, Jonathan Sepulveda, 34, has died after being hit by a car in Balboa Park.

The collision occurred just before 11 p.m. north of Pershing Drive, as per the report.

According to authorities, Sepulveda was riding a Link Scooter with his Brother-in-Law and sister along the bike lane, when a 17-Year-old teenager swerved and struck Sepulveda along the bike lane.

Moreover, Sepulveda was ejected from his scooter and was pinned underneath the car.

Unfortunately, Jonathan Sepulveda died on the scene due to his injuries, despite life saving efforts from emergency crews.

No other injuries reported.

Meanwhile, the fatal collision is under active investigation.
