2 Killed, 1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Kimberlina Road

WASCO, CA (August 1, 2022) – Tuesday night, Jonathan Prado and Claudia Lopez were killed and Jonathan Lopez was hurt in a 2-car crash.

On July 26th, at around 9:40 p.m., officers responded along Kimberlina Road and Magnolia Avenue.

Police said the crash involved a Toyota RAV4 and a Honda Accord. According to California Highway Patrol, the northbound Honda failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the Toyota.

The impact ejected one occupant from the Honda onto the roadway, causing fatal injuries. Medics pronounced 32-year-old Claudia, of Wasco and 28-year-old Prado dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the driver of the Toyota, 34-year-old Jonathan Lopez to Kern Medical Center for further treatment.
