35-Year-Old Rider Killed in Motorcycle Crash near Santa Ana Valley Road

HOLLISTER, CA (March 4, 2022) – Tuesday night, Jonathan Franklin Hannagan was killed in a motorcycle crash on Fairview Road.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m., on Fairview Road near Santa Ana Valley Road.

Per reports, a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup-truck was traveling west and attempted to make a left turn onto southbound Fairview Road. There, the pickup-truck collided with Hannagan, who was traveling northbound on Fairview Road on a motorcycle.

Upon impact, the motorcycle skidded away from the scene and came to a rest on Fairview Road. Meanwhile, the rider was trapped underneath the pickup-truck.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, first responders pronounced 35-year-old Hannagan, of Los Banos dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the pickup-truck driver did not sustained any injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

At this time, Hollister officials continue to investigate the fatal collision.
