Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 155 Results in One Fatality
WOFFORD HEIGHTS, CA (December 14, 2021) – Jon Robert Turner, 46, died Sunday in a tragic multi-vehicle collision on Highway 155.
The fatal accident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on December 5 on Highway 155 near Wofford Heights.
The CHP discovered that Turner and another driver collided on the highway under unknown circumstances.
Turner and the other driver got out of their cars to talk about the accident when an oncoming Mitsubishi Outlander hit Turner and drove into one of the cars.
Responding officers pronounced Turner dead at the scene. While, the other two drivers did not sustain injuries.
Moreover, police closed the area for several hours to give way for clearing operations.
An active inquiry is still continuing at this moment. Wofford Heights police will update more information when it becomes available.
