JoJo & the Teeth Hear Rumours: Jo-Jo O’Donoghue of glam/art rockers JoJo & The Teeth told us about her love for a Fleetwood Mac classic.

Jo-Jo O’Donoghue: I can’t speak for the whole band on this one… I would say each one of The Teeth would have a very different answer here – Alas, it is our very diverse musical upbringings that have become part of our genre bending sound as a band. Of course, there are so many albums that blew my little mind over the years & shaped what kind of musician I was to become, albums like Damn The Torpedoes, Ziggy Stardust, The Black Parade, A Night At The Opera, Appetite for Destruction, Led Zeppelin IV, Sam’s Town, “O”, London Calling, Anticipation, Pearl and countless others BUT-

When you ask me what my favourite album is, the very FIRST thing that pops into my head is Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.

Honestly, I don’t remember discovering it, it’s as if it has lived forever rent free in mind. I’m assuming its beautifully crafted songs were in numerous soundtracks and on constant FM radio play when I was growing up. Those songs imprinted on my soul, unconsciously, forever a part of how I hear music. What a well crafted album, each song flowing perfectly into the next, ear pleasing melodies, life affirming lyrics and poetry, ever raw, ever honest, never failing us in its pursuit to tell the truth, and never failing to deliver us a perfect song. Rumours is the album I throw on when I don’t know what I’m in the mood for- because I am always in the mood for Rumours.

What. An. Album… I just might just throw it on now. ‘

JoJo & the Teeth Hear Rumours: JoJo & the Teeth’s album No More Good News! is out now.
