Thirty-year-old Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson was found dead in her home near West Hollywood, and police have reportedly opened a death investigation.

After a maid reportedly came out of the home screaming “she's dead,” Los Angeles police officers responded to 910 N. Orlando Ave. about 11:51 a.m. Monday, and paramedics weren't far behind. She was apparently declared dead at the scene, but “there was no evidence of any foul play,” said Officer Sara Faden.

The officer said “a preliminary investigation” indicates Johnson's demise “appears to be an apparent natural death.”

TMZ reported Los Angeles police were conducting a death investigation, but Faden said the case in now in the hands of the coroner's office, which will likely conduct toxicology tests on Johnson's body. The heiress, reports E! Online, is rumored to have had a history of drug problems and other issues, including alleged theft.

In November Johnson and reality television star Tila “Tequila” Nguyen staged an engagement live on the web. Nguyen reportedly said that Johnson had been staying at her house Christmas weekend but that she couldn't reach her afterward. TMZ reported that Johnson typed out her last Twitter message Dec. 29, and that authorities tell the site that she might have been dead for days before her body was discovered.

She was the daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and socialite Sale Johnson. She was the great-great granddaughter of Johnson & Johnson co-founder Robert Wood Johnson.
