An actor who played a biker on the FX show Sons of Anarchy is suspected of murdering his landlord and then falling to his death in Los Feliz, police said today.

The attack — no weapons have been found — was reported yesterday, but it was only today that authorities identified the suspect as 28-year-old Johnny Lewis, according to LAPD Officer Richard French.

The landlord was also ID'd:

She's 81-year-old Catherine Davis, he said.

The dispute involved the landlord and two other victims who were attacked by Davis but survived, police said.

The suspect fell from a roof and onto a driveway, where he was pronounced dead, French said. It wasn't clear if he fell, tripped or jumped.

The attacks were reported at 10:48 a.m. yesterday in the 3600 block of Lowry Road in Los Feliz via “woman screaming” calls fielded by the LAPD, French said.

Arriving officers found Lewis and then David, who was inside a home.

TV news reports indicated that Lewis might have lived next door and was seen jumping from balcony to balcony during the attack.

Davis is said to have run a sort of boarding house that some called a writers' retreat.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Lewis was released from jail less than a week before the attack and that he had convictions, including assault with a deadly weapon and burglary, that could have kept him behind bars.

The Times says Lewis might have been on a hallucinogenic drug called “smiles.” Cops told TMZ he was on meth or PCP.

He was on the first two seasons of Sons of Anarchy, which is about a gang that tries to keep meth dealers out of its town.
