61-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Motorcycle Accident near Napa County

MIDDLETOWN, CA (March 9, 2021) – Early Sunday afternoon, 61-year-old John Walker was identified after motorcycle crash on Butts Canyon Road.

CHP first responded to the incident around 12:49 p.m., on March 7. Emergency crews arrived to the scene just west of the Napa County line.

According to reports, Walker was riding west in his 2000 Honda RC51 motorcycle at around 55-60 miles per hour. Suddenly, he lost control while negotiating a sweeping curve in the roadway.

As a result, the motorcycle overturned onto its left side, and eventually struck a metal guardrail. Due to the impact of the collision, Walker was ejected onto the road.
