Actor John Steiner Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near Miles Avenue

LA QUINTA, CA (August 4, 2022) – Sunday morning, John Steiner was killed and another was injured in a 2-car collision near Seeley Drive.

The accident happened around 9:40 a.m., near the intersection of Seeley Drive and Miles Avenue. However, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear.

Reports indicate that two vehicles collided in the area. In addition, medics found two victims with severe injuries.

Emergency responders rushed Steiner and another victim to Desert Regional Medical Center, where one of the victims was later pronounced dead. The Riverside County coroner’s office later identified the deceased victim as 80-year-old Steiner, of La Quinta.

La Quinta Officials said drugs and alcohol were not potential factors. At this time, officers continue to investigate the collision.
