Multi-vehicle Crash on 91 Freeway Kills 33-year-old John Ople

CERRITOS, CA (December 20, 2021)John Ople died in a Friday morning crash on Shoemaker Boulevard that involved multiple vehicles.

Authorities had responded to the reported collision at 4:29 a.m. on December 15th near the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway.

Despite life-saving efforts, Ople, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of their injuries.

However, the events leading up to the deadly collision remain unclear at this time.

Both lanes of the 91 Freeway closed for an extended period of time for cleanup and preliminary duties.
