Semi-Truck vs. Car Collision Injures 57-Year-Old John Henning of Yakima

PROSSER, WA (September 17, 2021) Last Thursday, a two-vehicle collision hospitalized 57-year-old John Henning.

Officers responded to the incident just after 7:35 a.m. on I-82 in the eastbound lanes.

According to the police report, Henning was driving a GMC van when he rear-ended a semi-truck for reasons unknown.

Subsequently, medics were able to extract the man from the wreck and transport him to a local hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be factors in the collision.

However, more information regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash will be released as it becomes available.
