74-Year-Old John Draper Died in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Crenshaw Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 6, 2021) – Friday evening, 74-year-old John Draper was killed in a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Crenshaw Boulevard.
Police arrived at the deadly scene around 9:39 p.m. on March 25. According to reports, Draper was crossing Crenshaw Boulevard at Hyde Park Boulevard when he was hit by a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck driving at high speed.
First responders found Hernandez in critical condition. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his injuries, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
However, the driver involved in the hit-and-run continued north on Crenshaw Boulevard and fled the scene. Furthermore, the city has a $50,000 standing reward for proof or evidence leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the hit-and-run suspect.
At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing. Once available, more information will be released.
