Traffic Accident on Fairview Avenue Left Elderly Man Injured

CORNING, CA (July 20, 2022) – Police are searching for 52-year-old John Davis following a hit-and-run crash on Solano Street Sunday morning.

The incident happened on July 17th, 7:30 a.m., when a driver in a silver 2006 Mercedes Benz, struck a pedestrian who was walking around Solano Street at Fairview Avenue.

Witnesses reported the accident and Corning Officials arrived that the scene shortly after. Emergency medics rendered first aid and rushed the 71-year-old man to a local hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.

After reviewing the surveillance video from the scene, authorities were able to identify the suspect as 52- year-old John Davis of Molinos. Corning officials are encouraging anyone with information about the suspect to contact local authorities as soon as possible.
