33-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Main Street
BARSTOW, CA (December 5, 2022) – Saturday evening, John Bessoni was killed in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 15.
The fatal incident happened around 9:12 p.m., November 19th, on northbound I-15 near East Main Street.
Police arrived at the scene and found 33-year-old Bessoni on the highway suffering from serious injuries.
Initial investigations showed that Bessoni was struck by a vehicle while on the roadway, for reasons unknown. Furthermore, responding officers transported Bessoni to Barstow Community Hospital where he later died.
No addition information was added and an active investigation is still underway.
Moreover, a large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
