2 Men Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Collision near the Antioch Bridge in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, CA (March 18, 2021) – Early Tuesday morning, Jofny Flores and Charles Edwards were killed in a head-on crash on Highway 160.

Sacramento Police described the involved parties as 23-year-old Flores and 26-year-old Edwards. According to CHP, the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m.

The events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, evidence indicates that the vehicles collided head-on.

Authorities have not yet released a description of the vehicles involved. In addition, CHP says there were no witnesses. Although, an active investigation to determine further details remains ongoing.

The surrounding area on Highway 160 was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
