Last night, police identified a motorcyclist who died on the Pacific Coast Highway on Wednesday as 41-year-old Joseph Annocki, a Los Angeles resident originally from Pennsylvania.

Annocki was heading east on the PCH near Zuma Beach at about 8:45 p.m. just as a white sedan — driven by two tourists from Oklahoma — pulled out of the parking lot for Geoffrey's Malibu, a ritzy seaside restaurant.

The driver of the rental car, immediately identified as 50-year-old Terry Turner, passed all sobriety tests conducted by Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff's deputies at the scene.

According to City News Service, Turner told deputies that he and his passenger — 47-year-old Donna Martin — were on vacation in SoCal.

Annocki was declared dead where he lay. His Facebook profile names his hometown as Philadelphia, PA, and lists Orange County Choppers, a custom motorcycle manufacturer, as one of his interests.
