Los Angeles police said they were looking into an allegation that Jodie Foster “attacked” a 17-year-old photographer at the Grove shopping center over the Memorial Day weekend. The teen claims that Foster poked him in the chest and grabbed his elbow, injuring him, according to the New York Times. A rep of the actress, however, told People magazine the teenager was a “professional paparazzo” and that the claim was a lie. According to another report, Foster's representative said she had indeed tried to pull the boy aside to talk to him, but that was all. Security video from the mall could answer the question of what actually happened.

The teen's father, however, reportedly says the footage has “mysteriously disappeared.”
