17-Year-Old Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision on Spring Street

PASO ROBLES, CA (January 25, 2022) – 17-year-old Joaquin Ripley died Thursday night, in a multi-vehicle crash on 34th Street.

According to police, the crash occurred around 5:15 p.m., near the intersection of Spring and 34th Street. Reports stated that the collision involved at least three vehicles.

Based on initial investigation, 17-year-old Ripley was driving northbound on Spring Street at a high-rate of speed when he crashed into two vehicles, which were attempting to turn onto Spring Street from opposite sides of 34th Street.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, paramedics pronounced Ripley dead at the scene. Although, no additional information regarding the others involved has been made public at this time.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. However, more details will be provided once made available to the public.
