If you've been anywhere near the Santa Monica pier lately, you know the circus is in town: dominating the landscape these days is the yellow and blue striped big top that is Cirque du Soleil. The troupe is in town with their new show Kooza.

Chef Raphael Lunetta at nearby JiRaffe in Santa Monica is celebrating the big top with a Cirque du Soleil Prix Fixe Menu. His three course dinner goes for $44 and includes a choice of appetizers, mains and desserts. Among those choices: seared Maine scallops; farmers market eggplant ravioli; and chocolate molten cake. The prix fixe menu is available Thursday through Sunday as long as the circus is in town, which for now is until the end of November.

JiRaffe isn't the only restaurant to get in on the circus act. If you are headed out to see Kooza over the next few weeks check out the city of Santa Monica's website for a bunch of other circus/dining deals.

Kooza tickets are on sale via their website. JiRaffe: 502 Santa Monica Blvd. Santa Monica; (310) 917-6671.
