Car Crash on Port Chicago Highway Kills Jimmy Tello and Katherine Hermoza

CONCORD, CA (November 8, 2021)  Jimmy Tello and Katherine Hermoza died Monday after a solo-car collision on Port Chicago Highway.

The accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. along northbound Port Chicago Highway at High School Avenue on November 1.

According to the CHP, Tello driving off northbound Port Chicago Highway when for unknown reasons slammed into a pole.

Authorities responded and declared the driver Jimmy Tello, 37, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics rushed the passenger, Katherine Hermoza, 51, to the hospital where she later died.

Currently, no further information has been provided but Concord police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
