These guys make grabbing perhaps thousands of dollars worth of jewelry look so easy we're surprised more people don't try it.

Here are the steps:

Enter a store in Valley Glen, hammers in hand, swing away, grab the loot, push away the old guy who's trying to protect his goods, leave.

Simple enough except for one Achilles' heel:

The smash-and-grab was caught on tape. Not only that, but security video captured it from more than one mesmerizing angle.

Cops are calling it a burglary instead of a robbery, even though a little force is used in the heist.

It happened Feb. 2 at Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Riverside Drive about 3:50 p.m., according to LAPD.

The department is now circulating the video with the hope that someone might recognize these guys and drop a dime.

The Latino suspects — one is about 5 feet, 11 inches, 170 pounds and in his late 20s, the other is about 5 feet, 8 inches, 150 pounds and in his early 20s — got away in a light-colored compact car, cops said.

Police believe the pair also cased the place on the previous day.
