71-Year-Old Man Killed in Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Sahara Ave and Eastern Ave

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 11, 2021) 71-year-old Jesus Regalo tragically died Saturday morning after a pedestrian accident on Sahara Avenue and Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas.

The collision occurred shortly after 10 a.m. on August 7 at the intersection of Sahara and Eastern avenues.

According to the officers, the man was struck by a motorhome as he crossed the street.

As per preliminary investigation, Regalo crossed the road at the same time the motorhome’s light turned green.

As a result, the motorhome’s rear tires ran over the 71-year-old man.

Responding officers stated that Regalo died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the motorhome, a 65-year-old man from New Jersey, stayed and waited for the officers to arrive.

At this time, authorities do not suspect the driver of DUI but have not released further information. Once available, more details will be provided.
