Patrol Vehicle Involved in Traffic Accident on San Joaquin Avenue

TULARE, CA (August 3, 2022) – Authorities arrested Jesus Miguel Meza Rosas after a crash on J Street, last Friday.

It happened around 7:15 a.m. on July 29th, when a speeding vehicle driven by Rosas ran through a red light and struck a police car.

Furthermore, some occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot after the initial collision.

Meanwhile, paramedics treated one occupant who stayed with Rosas at the scene.

Following the crash, authorities arrested and took Rosas into custody at the Tulare County Jail with charges of DUI causing injury while unlicensed.
