23-Year-Old Delano Man Dead after Colliding with Big-Rig near Taussig Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 3, 2021) – Sunday morning, 23-year-old Jesus Alaniz was killed in a semi-truck accident on Highway 43.

The incident happened just after 8:00 a.m., near Taussig Avenue. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

According to reports, Alaniz was the passenger inside of a vehicle that slammed into a semi-truck. Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced one person dead at the scene.

The Kern County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased passenger of the involved vehicle as 23-year-old Jesus Alaniz, of Delano.

At this time, authorities are still working to identify the circumstances surrounding the deadly accident. Once available, further details will be provided.
