“I try to convey emotion through my voice,” Jessie Berg shared in an interview. “There are moments where I’m calm and chill, but I’m also hyperactive. There’s no in-between. I’m drastically different—either super relaxed or very energetic. Depending on the day, I’m everything,” she added. 

Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Jessie Berg discovered her passion for music at a young age when she caught her grandmother’s attention as she belted out some insane vocals in the car. Immensely fueled by the desire to hone her craft, she was fearless in undertaking any opportunity that would improve her talent. She took voice lessons, participated in the choir, and even performed in musicals. During that time, she began obsessing over her favorite artists, such as Amy Winehouse. 

Upon graduating high school, Jessie Berg dipped her toes into the entertainment industry. She kicked off her career by working in her cousin’s recording studio and devoting her spare time to writing, recording her own music, and even interning for FLAUNT Magazine.

In 2019, Jessie Berg debuted as an artist with her single, “Monster.” The hit song generated hundreds of thousands of streams as The Hype Magazine raved, “Jessie Berg is a true model for women to feel empowered to talk about the real issues, feelings, and ideas with confidence.”

On its heels, she dropped “Faithful to Toxic” in 2021, racking up 224K Spotify streams and 500K YouTube views. According to the singer, working with esteemed producers Jordan Omley and Mike Summers helped her to redefine her vision carefully.

Standing at the helm of a blossoming career, Jessie Berg shines on a 2021 three-pack of singles—”Safe Space,” “Pray,” and “Stages.” “Safe Space” tempers a nervous beat with confessional lyrics while “Pray” echoes with a self-aware warning. Lastly, “Stages” highlights her diary-style lyrics as she once again examines a propensity to retreat inward. 

“When you hear my music, I want you to be like, ‘That was definitely Jessie,’” she said. “It’s important for me to create a sound and vibe for myself. At the same time, I want to be a voice to make you feel.”
