33-Year-Old Drunk Driver Dies after Police Pursuit on 110 Freeway

PASADENA, CA (June 22, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, Jesse Ramirez was pronounced dead following a deadly DUI pursuit crash.

On June 18th, just before 12:10 a.m., officers received a report about a drunk driver heading northbound on the 110 Freeway.

Furthermore, 33-year-old Ramirez was identified as the driver and he was approaching Fair Oaks Avenue. Police said that Ramirez had no lights on and was driving recklessly.

Consequently, the police started a pursuit when the 2012 Kia Rio, driven by Ramirez, failed to stop and sped away.
