Female Pedestrian Killed in Deadly Crash on San Fernando Boulevard

BURBANK, CA (December 16, 2021) – Authorities arrested 49-year-old Jesse Molina after a deadly hit-and-run on Grinnell Drive Friday.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m., along San Fernando Boulevard and Grinnell Drive. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

According to California Highway Patrol, the events that led up to the crash remain unknown. However, Burbank Police found a woman lying on the ground upon arrival.

As per reports, Molina struck the female pedestrian and continued driving his vehicle several blocks away. Shortly after, officers located the man and arrested him.

At this time, authorities have not released the name of the deceased victim. Burbank police continues to investigate the fatal crash.
